I was at Autozone to purchase motor oil the other day, most Valvoline products have two codes each on the back of the bottles, so when you enter six codes from three bottles on the website you get a "Daytona International Speedway" or "Bristol Motor Speedway" tshirt or hat of your choice.

This isn't an Autozone promotion, so you can check it at other stores that sell Valvoline products too. By the way, the papers on the back of the bottles are almost all already torn open from bad production and easily removable, so I would try to get the bottles from the back or open a new pack in case someone else already copied the codes or removed the papers.

Besides, Autozone is supposed to have a rebate form for 5 quarts of Valvoline Maxlife motoroil for free nowadays.

I just realized that I submitted the previous post on this thread by mistake.

Next time this comes around, I wonder if booting up with a Knoppix CD will get around the cookie that prevents you from signing up multiple times.

I went to AUTOZONE today to redeem my check they issued me for $13.27. The guy at the counter took it to the faceless manager behind the counter...She hemmed and hawed.........
Bottom line is he came back and said I had to take it to my local bank to cash it and bring back the money. I showed him the letter that came with it....
The woman was a jerk and refused it...........
So....buyer beware at AUTOZONE....
Anyone else having trouble cashing their check? It was not a coupon...It was a check to cover the cost including sales tax.......

sorry to hear you had such a tough time, douglasfir,

i just received my "check" today (signed up last thurs), & after reading the info on the letter & check, i'm surprised the Autozone store people gave you such a hard time about this.

It specifically states on the check:
Consumer: Use this like a coupon
Retailer: Deposit with other checks
