AMD is giving out a free shirt or cap to the first 2000 people to register. Watch for the "Click to Register" on the bottom right corner.
 
Anyone ever see this? I'm not a big fan of AMD (before and after seeing the video)

I have received stuff from them in the past. A few shirts for the fiance. They do send out the goods. :)

This has been around for a while, I would be very suprised if anyone gets anything. I signed up a while ago and have not recieved anything (yet)
 
netscur, that video was crazy, I'll be sure to download that later. But I don't get how this video would make someone not like AMD processors. I mean, overclocking a CPU to 3 times its regular voltage and clock speed with only passive cooling was something I didn't know was possible. At over 4.7 volts and 3.8ghz on a DURON....it was amazing it booted at all. To put that into perspective, my Duron was only 1.6 volt and 1.2 ghz.
That poor Duron did very well but I still don't get why it exploded before crashing...

Oh, i found out why...it seems like it explodes from the change of temperature once the heatsink comes off. They also have videos of a P4 smoking then exploding.

It look like you have to sign-up and then attend the event to get your free shirt and am sure 2000 people have already done this, since it has been going on since December. I am going to mark this one as expired.
