I called 1-(800)682-8691 and asked to join. They said six to eight weeks for the card to arrive. I may as well see what they have to offer. Nothing like owning good get-the-job-done tools.
I probably won't get in on this offer since I just joined. No biggie - I like high quality tools (esp. Craftsman) that sell at a discount and I'll be be prepared for their next promotion.

you have to be a club member and when I went to join it seems you have to open a charge account at sears.com and they want a credit card, etc.
 
anyone find the place to sign up for the free offer?
 
This offer was a rip-off. It was never free, but some kind of premium with purchase and you had to pay for shipping. My husband was all set at 12 PM CDT w/craftsman card & Sears cc, and he said it wasn't free. He e-mailed them, and they answered that we should order it $14.99 plus shipping--and they would refund the $14.99. Right--
