When you put away your electric appliance, how would you do? The most of the people wrap the electric cord around the body of the appliance and twist the end of the cord with the plug.

Well, are those cord stay wrapped? If you are lucky, it does. But the most of the time, it won’t. In the toolbox, in the closet, on the shelf, almost always the cord becomes alive and moves around where ever they want to be. In the toolbox, that loosed cord may hook some sharp object and it can damage the cord and create short circuit. In the closet or on the shelf, loosed cord may come off and plug end may hang down from the shelf. Then, those loosed plug may attract small child to pull it down.

There is a lot of potential danger by just leaving loosed cord. That’s why you need to make sure that your appliance with the electric cord is properly stored.
