I think you might have meant "for $29.95 shipped free after Google checkout and rebate".
 
Ok, so has anyone tried these kingston usb drives? So far, I bought the memorex 2 gig and the verbatim 2 gig. And the speed is not so good. The time it takes to copy a movie(700megs) took 7 mins on the memorex and 10 mins on the verbatim. I want to stay around or under 1 min per 100 megabites. Anyone know of any speedy usb drives? Please share. It seems that these companies don't really list their speed in their websites.
 
I've used 2Gb ones and have had zero problems copying files to them.

Keep in mind that having USB 2.0 helps... your computer may be USB v1.0 (or v1.1).
