This deal is still good and ist not a bad deal. It comes with a 1 month free gold card. This can be used to lengthen an already existing membership too. Even though the card says you must use by a certain date, it works anyway.

last I heard XBox Live had been down for almost 2 weeks! LOL

I'm not sure why they are down [specifically] but I work for Apple and iTunes has been touch and go since xmas, too.

Xbox Live goes down every Christmas, mostly it is because they haven't properly prepared their networks, which is sad for some a large company.

Still some good games in the lot, I had already bought this so I just got the price matched.

This deal is dead by the way. It now shows up as $17,99 being sold by Target.
