the link provided by Spoofee goes to:
http://www.netflix.com/Default?ls_sourceid=fW5jXtbL300-iukrOyfs14wmCF.AtDW1Sg
why is that? is it some sort of referral deal?

I do not know if SPOOFEE uses a referral deal on this site, but nearly every site offers these and when it comes down to it, this site is a free site... hosting and bandwidth are not free. So if you can help out with the related expenses by simply clicking on the link that you are going to go to anyway, why would you not help out the person who presented you with the offer?

It would be one thing if it was a redirecting, tracking thing but this is only a referral ID... If you have ever clicked a link for Amazon (for example) that is located anywhere on the Internet, there is about a 99% chance that it is a referal, but it does not increase your cost. Help out those who help save you money :D

woot woot!
hear, hear!

I'm clickin, baby! Im clickin.

Thanks :spoofee:, the Target Gift card makes this deal so much sweeter

I want to make it clear that I 100% support this site!
(otherwise I won't even bother writing anything here...)

However, I think if there's some incentive/referral bonus
involved, the poster should clearly indicate as such. If it
doesn't cost me any money, I'd be happy to click, click,
and click for you... :)

If Spoffee gets $ from Netflix when I sign up here, I'm
all for it. In fact, I switch and sign up new Netflix account
every 1 to 2 months. This is one of the ways to avoid
being "blacklisted" by Netflix. (for heavy renters like me
anyway... I manage to rent 70 to 90 DVDs per month
using the 8-at-a-time membership)

Spoofee.com does use referal links on some of the deals. Like several have pointed out it's costs $$$ to keep this site running. I know Spoofee just upgraded the hosting on the site to a dedicated server and I'm sure site site goes through a ton of bandwidth.

I personaly am glad to have a site like this. I'm amazed that all the info I get here is free. There's no way I could find the same deals that get posted here by Spoofee himself and the wonderful users of Spoofee.com.

You rent 70-90 a month? How do you have time to watch that many DVDs? What is the point of having that many? Yikes!

the code is not working for me. i followed instructions but said code is invalid. did it expire?

spoofee, like every deal site in existance, uses referrals. i dont understand why users make such a big deal out of that. it makes no difference to you whatsoever if a link you clicked in the background, which saves you money also earns someone else money (mind you a tiny portion).

really, think about this...
1) they found the link/deal
2) they posted the link/deal
3) they saved you money
4) they pay for hosting and bandwidth to do all this
5) this is COMPLETELY FREE to you
6) and it didn't take you any extra time for the referral

so why are you complaining?

keep in mind that not all the deals are referrals and the ones that are, are very transparent.

i think anyone complaining about referrals like spoofee is just plain bitter and needs to grow up.

btw to the ones complaining.... do you use google? do you think google is free? if they are free then why is their stock $380 a share? they have ads too, all over the place aka referrals. do you hate google now?

nothing is free in life but anything that helps you save money is great. spoofee is great and anyone disagreeing should find somewhere else to complain, here isn't the place.

how do you do that? i tried to change my account a few times, but they remember my credit card number, so it won't let me do another trial.

Is it possible to sign up for Netflix's free trial multiple times? I've done it using different addresses and different credit cards, but never tried the same address or credit card twice yet. Do they check your name against address and/or credit card number?

yes, they check both. So does blockbuster.com

Im on my 4 address and fourth credit card now
