Rita's is offering a free Italian ice to mark the first day of spring.

They have locations in: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia & West Virginia.

I went last year, but they were already closed (around 9 PM). This year, I will try to get there earlier. But it's still so cold here in NJ, I really wish they'd do this in June--the first day of summer! We have one in our town--and it had just opened last year. Thanks for the info, Joyce.

Thanks Joyce! Just sent an e-mail to my sis to tell her. Unfortunately, all the Rita's around here are 45 to 60 minutes away.

My MiL has one about 10 mins away from her house. It's realllly good. To bad I don't have one around my place.
 
I have 5 within 4 miles of my house :) the kids and I had fun today!!
