External 56K Modem

Personally I would never go back to 56K, but I just set-up my mother-in-laws computer and found out that her modem didn't work. Although I'm more than comfortable to install an internal modem, I don't know what model Dell she has and it didn't appear to be a "normal" PCI modem. Therefore to save headaches I want to get her an external 56K modem.

Anyone know of any good prices or FAR offers available?

FYI the best I found is $17 (including shipping) on eBay, which seems like the best price out there.

Computer Geeks don't currently have stock but I bought mine from there a year or so ago. They had the best price at the time. I don't know how fast you need one but you may want to call them to see when they'll be receiving more. They're usually very helpful when you call and can give you an exact time and price on when they should receive it.

Thanks, Jake. Since its not a big ticket item and I'm not paying for it I plan on ordering it today so I can hopefully set it up for her this weekend. Unless of course someone here is aware a good deal.
