Fantom 500GB USB Drive for $119.95 Shipped After Rebate

Hi all,

Anyone has any run-ins with this drive? I have read some bad reviews about fantom drive but i am not sure about the fantom II...And, what about buy.com? Beening hearing negative remarks on the late delivery and customer handling...anyone has had any bad experience recently?
 
well i am not sure about the drive. but i did have bad experience with buy.com i cancelled my order but they didn't allow me to cancel. then they told me to refuse to accept the shippment but the item was opened when i recevied and it left outside by the front door. i had to call them 2 or 3 times to issue an RMA. then it took them almost a month to issue the credit back to my credit card. in addition, each time i called, i had to wait on the phone for at least 45 mins.:mad:
 
Be wary of rebate

I bought one of these over a month ago and immediatly applied for the rebate. It seems to have gone into a black hole. There is no status when I checked on it and no reply when I asked about it. This is getting quite irritating.....
