Yes. And, my kids' pediatrician insisted that we actually cook with butter. He even said scrambled eggs are one of the best foods for kids. Children need fat such as this for proper brain development. Didn't say anything about bacon, though.

I'll definitely be checking this one out. We have an upcoming party and butter cream frosting is my favorite!

My grocery store - Publix- doesn't carry the 1lb box.
anyone know which grocery stores carry it??

I bake a lot so this would totally help

Price of butter is way up. I'm not sure why they made it 8 sticks, 4 work fine for me.

THANK YOU!

I'm a little bit of a butter snob and land-o-lakes butter is the BEST! I always buy it when it's B1G1Free at Jewel and freeze a couple. Free is even better!

Butter is the WRONG kind of fat for brain development in kids. Omega-3 fatty acids are the right kinds which are obtainable in a wide range of food products including fish and plants oils like flaxseed. Crushing up flaxseeds and adding it to granola makes for a healthy, tasty treat rather than all the processed sugary cereals out on the market today.

Save your children years of health problems by introducing more "whole foods" into their diet rather than all that processed junk food readily available in the grocery store.

I don't know of many people smarter than I am and I grew up with sugar bread, white bread lathered with butter with sugar on top, and eggs and sugar crisp and ice cream and steak and potatoes and exercise.

I've bought one from Target in the past, can not guarantee they have it now though.

butter is better than margarine! organic butter is better than conventional butter. locally produced, organic butter is better than non-locally produced, organic butter.

I found this at our Winn Dixie here in FL today! Thanks.

I think a pound of butter is gonna cost way more than $4.39 in Manhattan. This will be good for about 50% off though.

It's 8 half sticks. It's still only a pound, only you won't need to open a whole stick to butter your toast in the morning and waste the rest of it when you forget it the rest of the week.
