anyone know if this site it legit? I signed up for a few, but it only requires you to enter a username, password (only once, not 2 times to ensure you typed it the same), and an email address. After you submit it your up and running with out even an email welcoming you....

It just seems a little fishy, like they are fishing for emails and passwords

Tag. This looks awesome, but I'm going to wait a bit yet.

After I signed up, I went to the upload page to check it out. My screen blinked and my antivirus (AVAST) notified me that a program was trying to turn off my real time scan. I was also installing iTunes 8.0 at the time so that could be my culprit. Signing up was a little too easy though, so like everyone else is saying, I would upload with caution.

anyone try to upload a file yet? I havnt been able to load a file bigger then 1mb right now

I signed up. What a mistake . . . I think this is a fraudulent site, put up in about five minutes time to snag emails and passwords. I am VERY SORRY I signed up for this.

****I found this reveiw****

In their own words“FileSavr’s goal is to simply the process of file hosting. We provide fastest and easiest file hosting service as an alternative to sites like MegaUpload and RapidShare. Unlike the other sites, we do not force users to sign up for paid accounts to download files, we do not show long countdown timers, pop up ads, or any other spam related activities.”Why it might be a killerThe advertising in other file sharing sites is unbearable. This site does the exact same thing as them, without annoying ads. This should be enough to make it a winner. Some questionsWill people trust it enough to switch over? How fast are the download speeds? What it doesAre you tired of the hassle involved with using Rapidshare or Megaupload? Are you tied of getting asked to sign up for a premium account? If you are, then you should forget about those services and check out Filesavr.com. Through this site, you’ll be able to upload and download as many files as you want, without restriction. There are no ads, no pop up, or anything else to distract you from downloading your files. The file upload limit is 10GB. This should let you upload anything you want without having to worry about restrictive volume policies. After you upload, you’ll be given a link to let others go online and download the file you want to share with them. The site just launched, so they’re still working out the smallest things. As long as people are downloading your files, they’ll be kept on the server. Once people stop coming to them, they’re deleted.Link: http://www.filesavr.comOur Review: http://www.killerstartups.com/Web-App-Tools/filesavr-com-file-hosting-made-simple
