Regarding the hair dye on the carpet ... go buy this product called Folex it is available in the cleaning section , where the stain removers are at Walmart. It works absolute wonders .

True Story --- my boyfriend was carrying a bucket of deck stain ( walnut colored) through our house and tripped and spilled it all over the carpet on our stairs... I was freaked out beyond belief... I tried Folex and it was a miracle. I thought I was going to have tp replace the carpet and it saved me from having to do that. I was so impressed I emailed the company to thank them.
 
My toddler recently got ahold of my husbands Pepsi. He knew he wasn't suppose to have so he started running w/ it. Of course big drops were spilled all across the carpet. This should help get them out.
