This is the same group who told the kids their parents were MURDERERS because they ate chicken or wore leather shoes. So be sure you read these books carefully before giving them to your children...Free isn't necessarily Good.

Amen! PETA Kids is just an arm of the animal rights group PETA! They use distortions and outright lies about the effectiveness of medical research using animals in treating human disease. It's just a disgraceful attempt to influence kids before they are old enough to form their own opinions.

The PETAkids offer is essentially a political message and doesn't belong in a forum like Spoofee!
 
Please remove this, it's just political propaganda targeted at kids. Sad...
 
Wow, just read about half of the rat book. PETA makes it sound as if all scientists are dirty beastards that laugh everytime an animal dies. I wouldn't want my kids reading this, although the book started innocently enough.
 
You know, I've just read through the entire book. Isn't a comic book supposed to be fun? This wasn't entirely an eye opener.
 
I have to say Spazntwitch comments made read some of it, thats pretty sick for a kid. I thought it was going to be just how it started sweet and why rats aren't bad etc...
Parents should read anything before giving it to their kids, their choice.

Saying that it's a freebie doesn't matter if it's from Peta, if you don't like it or want it don't order it. Simple as that.
