On Friday, February 1, 2008 you can make a difference for a child who needs dental care and may not have the means to afford it through the Give Kids A Smile! (GKAS) program. Bring a child to a participating dental site to help fulfill our dream of every child having a healthy, beautiful and lasting smile.
The Give Kids A Smile! (GKAS) program is entering its sixth year. If you have a child age 12 or under in need of dental care and lack dental insurance or the means to acquire it, we welcome you to participate in the program. At more than 75 sites across New Jersey, dental professionals will conduct dental screenings, dental treatment and dental education FREE OF CHARGE to those children in need.
If you are a parent, guardian, school administrator, community or faith-based leader we encourage you to help us spread the word about this incredible program.
More information, including participating locations and parental information, is available at www.njda.org/gkas or by calling the GKAS Hotline at (888) 576-9278.
