Free Digital Prints and Photo CDs

If anyone used a service like Snapfish where you upload your digital prints, they print them and ship them to you, then here are some other ones who are doing promos for signing up. Shipping and handling charges may apply:

www.photothru.com - 2 photo CDs and your choice of 20 free prints OR 2 8x10 prints. Shipping charges apply, but probably a good deal if you ordered your 'freebies' all in one shot.

Anyone else find sites giving away free prints, CDs, or other items related to digital prints?

I hate photothru. I signed up for the free prints, submitted an order, and they cancelled it without telling me. Bastards! I sent a complaint e-mail and they said I have already used the offer before, which I never had! I responded that I have never used photothru before and they came back and said I was lying. They said they checked my "information" and it matched against someone else who lived with me and used photothru. I responded that that was impossible since I live alone! This company is crappy and they cancel orders for no reason. Do not do business with these bastards!

This just happened to my sister in law three weeks ago. They also stated someone else in the family used her offer. She lives with her two younger children and they woudnt know how to get to the site let alone place an order. Karen :evil:

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about ordering the photo CDs but after hearing that - I'll just stay away from them. :claps:

They didn't cancel on me. But they did cancel on my friend. I wonder how they selectively pick who to cancel on... regardless, it's a shady company.

Did anyone actually receive their prints/CDs from this photothru company?

I received my 2 8x10's from photothru in about 5 days from submitting my order.

Another good site for free pictures is www.snapfish.com When you go to the site it will vary from 20 - 40 free pictures being offered. if it says 15-20 just erase your history, close your browser. Then go back to the site, sometimes it takes 3-5 times till you recieve the number of free prints that you want to be offered.
