:idea:You can keep track of various health problems that run in your family. This is a helpful way of noticing patterns or discovering potential genetic risk factors within your family lineage. An important reference/preservation for the future generations while there are still links to the one before ours - like asking your grandmother what signs, symptoms or diagnosis HER parents or grandparents experienced. Obviously, modern medicine has evolved to the point of discovering treatments and potential cures for what we recognize as Autism, ADHD, Schizoprenia, Bipolar, Tay Sachs,Hodgkins disease, etc... There may be genetic testing options to determine your family's risk. Sorry to ramble on, but I've found this service very useful since I learned that at the time undiagnosed depression most likely was the mitigating factor in the suicides of both my great aunt and her son and that my great grandmother had the same type of malignant Melonoma that my mom is experiencing now...
