I see nothing about getting a FREE fish tank as your title sugests...

Thanks gr8nrg. I didn't catch that title confusion but you get tank decals and not a free fish tank.

You have to scroll down a little bit and get to the part where you PM "Monster Maximus". It looks like you need to make five posts before you can actually send the PM.

I have to tell you guys a true story about my friend, Morgan. We grew up in Brooklyn and spent a lot of time down at Sheepshead Bay together. One day a fishing boat came in. One of the fishermen had caught a "monster" shark and it was being shown off. We both eyed it for a while but it did something to Morgan. He got an idea in his brain he wouldn't let go of.
One day he calls me and says come on over, you gotta see what I have so I went over to his house and he took me down to the cellar and showed me. He had bought a kids plastic swimming pool that was about 2 feet deep and I think it was 10 foot across. He had hauled barrels of salt water water from the ocean and filled the tank with it. After he had it set up he had gone to a pet store way out on the island and bought a baby shark and it was swimming around in the tank. I forget what kind it was. anyway it grew and grew and grew. It was about 2 1/2 fet long and Morgan was buying meat from the butcher to feed it.
One day Morgan had a bunch of guys over to show off the shark and he took a hunk of meat and put it in the tank to show how the shark would take the food from his hand. Well, the shark went for the food and caught Morgans hand instead and ripped 2 fingers right off.
What a scene and when the ambulance came they called the cops and Morgan had to get rid of the thing. He lost his pinky and part of the ring finger.
I'll never for get that day. growing up in Brooklyn was incredible back then.

That was literally a 'hand fed shark'.

I used to take the overnight fishing boats out of sheepshead bay. They're really building up the area down there now. NYC is finally learning the value of 'waterfront property'.
