Free Dial-up Internet Access

I heard about this website on the local FOX newscast this morning.

Before you condemn me for spamming the site with advertisements for Juno and Netzero - check out Freedomlist. I briefly scanned the list and saw a bunch of free (or, really cheap) local ISPs that don't claim not to flood your screen with banners or popups.

It may be worthwhile to bookmark to obtain free, local dial-up ISPs as a backup for your broadband connection if it goes down or if you're travelling and don't want to pay the $9.95 a day for broadband in the hotel room (or, the equivalent of $300.00/month!) but get free local calls.

Enjoy.

I wouldn't consider this spam. There are legit, free advertiser-supported ISPs...
However, you need to rename your title & take out “Broadband” because you’re not advertising free broadband access... and any hotel worth it’s salt will have free wireless…

Agreed. Title edited.

Where are hotels with free wi-fi? I'm surrounded by Time's Square hotels
(Marriot Marquee, Paramount, Edison Hotel, W) and they all charge for their wi-fi.
A few weeks ago I was at the Borgata in Atlantic City. A trade show I went to put me up there and it's rated as one of the hottest hotels in Atlantic City but the broadband wasn't free (and wasn't part of the comp :().

Totally different ballgame but just an FYI - all Panera Bread locations have free wireless connections too!

& McDonald's, & Starbucks, & Keva Juice... lost of restaurants do.

nothing is cheaper than using your neighbors wireless...:)
