Free - Norton Software for Upgraders

Out of stock

Is there a way to fudge the upgrader rebate if you don't have a page from the users manual laying around?
Also, Symantec Norton SystemWorks 2006 Premier for $69.94 - $40 rebate - $20 Upgrader Rebate = Free is out of stock. :(

I think they take previous actual CDs too. If not, you can buy a old Norton/Mcafee software on ebay to qualify for it. =)

It may still be in stores; my local store had plenty yesterday even though it said OOS online.

In case it helps, for prior ownership it says Norton, Symantec or another company's antivirus, antispyware, firewall, antispam, utility, or backup software will do, either retail (CD, manual's 1st page, or email receipt from download) or oem (print-out of Help/About screen if pre-loaded).

You could get Zonealarm w/Antivirus FAR and submit the email confirmation.

Sometimes locally owned computer stores sell used or OEM cds for practically nothing.

What I have done for the last couple of years is get two FAR anti-virus packages (Norton & McAfee) and then use both manuals for the rebate. Easy and no need to keep junk lying around. Since this year I have been using GRIsoft's anti-virus which is free for personal use.
