great minds think alike

These links don't have a number under the coupon code--someone has edited out the number.
I think this will only work with the coupon code number on the coupon because that would be your
Staples reward number.

Is there a way to get it w/ the code #?
thanks

no problem getting this remember you do have to buy something manager just had to override this.

Took the coupon to Staples today and got the pens. Worked just fine for me. We bought a couple of other back to school sale items that we needed so it went through fine. Good deal!

I took my coupon to our local Staples store. I also had a clearance item for the purchase. After diddling with it at the register she said It was a fraudulent coupon and that her manager told them a few days ago not to take it. I doubt that was true as this same girl refused another coupon a while ago. She seems to have a problem with anyone getting something free. Since she was the only one in the store at the time, I just purchased my clearance item and had to leave the pens behind. I said I guess you make up the rules as you go along as others have used it without a problem.

I took my coupon in and was browsing the store with pens and coupon in hand when an easy tech guy approached me to tell me the coupon was fraudulent. I found it fishy since the pens had the tag removed on the shelf and he acted like I could get them free if I pressed the issue, but I didnt want to burn any bridges so I put the pens back and made my purchase and left. :(
I'm wondering if it was just a coupon that wasn't supposed to get out to the public, so they pulled the tag to confuse people and encouraged their staff to steer people away..
I'm confused about how it can be a 'fraudulent/fake' coupon when it's available for printing on a "staples.com" site.

I picked up my pens yesterday, used the coupon without problems.

I was unable to use the coupon when I tried the other day. Since there is no number on it, and they were told that coupons were getting around the Internet that had been duplicated :noidea:
