Free Sample Crest Complete Multi-Benefit Deep Clean Toothpaste - First 15K

The way I'm reading this (text to follow), in order to get the sample, you have to order the magazine. I may be wrong, but they're saying you must "opt in":

Bonus: The first 15,000 to select the opt-in below will also receive a free sample of Crest Complete Multi-Benefit Deep Clean toothpaste! Please note that samples are limited to only the first 15,000 entries.
 
When you click under the paragraph where it says "no purchase necessary" it takes you to a new page where you can enter for this without subscribing. At the bottom of that new form, there is a box where you can select yes or no to requesting the toothpaste sample, it reads:


"Would you like a free sample of Crest Complete Multi-Benefit Deep Clean toothpaste? Note: only the first 15,000 entries will receive samples.
Yes No

I'm hoping that this "opts you in" for the toothpaste but keeps you from ordering the mag.

I clicked on the click her near the picture of the magazine so i didnt start a trial subscription and it still said that the first 15,000 entries will get a sample, so i dont think you have to get a subscription
