Free Starbucks Vivanno on 7/25 & 7/26 w/ Registered Card

Starbucks is offering their new Vivanno (Orange Mango Banana / Banana Chocolate) drinks for free for using your registered Starbucks Card on July 25 or 26.

A SB reg. card is a gift card you buy at SB and then register online. This protects your balance if the card is lost or stolen. You could buy a $5 card, register it, and be eligible for the deal on Fri/Sat. Off for my pedicure now, so any more questions will be answered at a future time!

You're kidding, right? Where are they giving this away? It's Starbucks--I was just saving keystrokes. Sorry if I confused you!

Ok, now I am going to sound dumb, but I don't have one. This is just like a sort of "club" card of sorts, right? Not a credit card? i.e. no initial fee to sign up, or am I completely wrong? I'll go check out the website...you can ignore my babble. :worry:

Thanks for the reminder, Pat! :claps: I got the email but would have forgotten about it. :yo:

I knew what the SB stood for - just not familiar with the registered card part.

Ditto! That's what was throwing me as well. GOOD TO KNOW! I hope I still have that starbucks giftcard somewhere! I might have thrown it out once the balance was gone. :( I'll go register it and get a freebie! Is it just one freebie per card or can my husband take it one day/time and me another?

Wow, I go to Starbucks a lot... I just haven't seen the need to buy and register a gift card and I didn't know what the **&(*@#*&*#$^& a "SB registered card" was..

Somehow I feel lost here.. Does everyone have one of the "SB registered card" except the outcast of the world? Is paying cash for my coffee now uncool, out of style, dorky, stupid, idiotic or????

Why didn't I know what this "SB registered card" was right off the bat?

Damn it, I just realized I got old...

Yet anohter reason to not like SB...they can't make it easy for a freebie. When DD has free coffee, it's free...not to mention SB coffee is not only free, but worthless because it's horrible.

The Starbucks card also allows you to get 2 hours of free wifi each day, as long as you use your card to purchase something at least once a month.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. There are a few other benefits to registering your card as well. There's a little pamphlet in the store that explains those. I believe on the back of the gift card itself, they supply the website to go to in order to register your card.

Kaija: I don't think you will be able to register a zero-balance card. And--I don't know how they keep track of how many people are participating using the same gift card.

Thanks, Spoofee, for fixing the OP.

You may want to take a copy of the flyer with you- store employees did not know anything about the promotion.
But on swiping my card. it showed a $2.75 charge followed by a $2.75 credit= $5 remaining. Since you are using the card to activate the promo, I suspect I will be using my other $5 card tomorrow :-)

Printable Coupons are NOT accepted at any Starbucks

Just for clarification, any printable coupons you see online for free drinks or free Vivanno beverages are fake. They are not accepted at any Starbucks.

You can test your luck though; some baristas are inexperienced or just don't care.

I stopped by my local SB today and they said you had to have the "coupon." The link just looked like an ad for the promotion. Is that the coupon? Has anybody been successful with this. I have been wanting to try these drinks. M

I asked about the free smoothie promotion when you use the gift card (registered) and they said yeah, rang me up for 2 smoothies on my card and they both ended up being free. I asked if this was popular and she said no it's like nobody knows about it - she seemed very surprised that it ended up being totally free for both, but hey works for me :) I got chocolate... it was fabulous.

Please see post #15. I haven't tried this promo yet, but it was not a coupon--just an e-mail explaining it. Obviously, 02000 got it to work flawlessly by using the Starbucks registered gift card. I may try it later tonight.
