Remove the cover from the October 27 issue of People magazine. Fold cover inside out, then tape the sides to create an envelope. Fill the pouch with five plastic Target bags and mail it by 11/30/08. -if you don’t have the magazine cover: Use any 8½ x11″ or larger envelope. Be sure to affix postage and include your return address. Send your clean, used Target shopping bags to: TerraCycle 121 New York Avenue Trenton, NJ 08638
 
I did this several months ago when they had a promotion in Newsweek magazine. They sent me a coupon for a free Target Re-Tote bag. The bag is nice and very sturdy.

We don't have a Target in town....if a similar offer comes out for Walmart, I'd love to hear about it! Although, they'd have to send me about a hundred bags! :druel:
 
so are they making the tote bag out of the plastic bags that we send them? I can't imagine those being as sturdy as ordinary tote bags.
 
be on the lookout one and all got my coupon today good til end of month. would have gone today but i had to race home to meet with the the pool man. ooh lala!!!!!

How much postage do you need to send them??? These totes are usually 99 cents in the stores around here...
 
you don't have to get recycled 99 cent plastic verison., this coupon is up to $6.59, there is a really nice cloth embroidered target tote bag, I rather have.
