One thing to add -- as an optician I can tell you that you'll need either a CL evaluation to go along with a previous exam or a new exam to get the free pair. That's the law in all 50 states.

Now if you're currently wearing contacts, your doctor can either do a quick check of your eyes to make sure the CLs will fit correctly, or just check your chart and verify your K readings (the curvature of your cornea) will match up with these contacts.
