My SIL is a new grandmother. :)
So... a few weeks ago I saw a link for free diapers with diaper cream already in it. I thought she'd like to try that (she watches the baby alot). So I signed her up.


Well...
she called me yesterday to tell me that a co-worker, who sits a few cubes down from her, came to her desk today and asked her the following:

Him: Are you L.P.?
Her: yes
Him: Do you live at ***, ***?
Her: Ummm... yes. Am I in trouble for something?
(She thought she was going to get fired b/cuz he was in M.I.S.)

Him: No. You aren't in trouble. But, did you request some diapers?
Her: OMG - I'm going to kill my SIL. ;)

Him: No. It's ok. Here they are. I'm trying to start my own business. I'm waiting for a patent for these. The strangest thing happened a few weeks ago. My site usually gets 1 request for sample every 3 months or so. In the past few weeks - I've had 3,000 requests! I can't keep up with this. I don't know what to do.

Oh wow- I do feel sorry for the small businesses/ starting out businesses that get so many request... poor guy! That's a pretty funny story though!;)
 
Identify the company to Mr. Spoofee. I think he should pull the post, give this guy a break, maybe even talk to the guy and work out some ads when he gets his patent.

I don't think so.

My comment would be "Why is this guy using his work computer for 'personal use' and using company time for 'personal use'.

In the corporate world this is called "Asset & Time Theft".

I think that your SIL should blackmail the guy for more free samples.:yo:
