Freebies? Participation required???

I was wondering if any of you do the freebies that you have to do those stupid sponsor offers? I have tried but never get to the end of the surveys and end up signing up for stuff that I dont want. I am looking for tips and if you know any good ones to go for that are simple. I have been on this site http://www.rewardprograms.org/thefreegeek/features/the_geeks_guide_to_getting_free_stuff.html and was informative, but still a pain in the but when you have to get friends to sign up for offers too

IMO it's not worth my time and I don't feel comfortable giving out my friends email address only to be bombarded with spam in their inbox.

I tried it one time but never did get anything but a bunch of junk.
I was supposed to have gotten a free sample of septic rememdy and instead they sent me a full supply and tried to charge me for it. I told them I did not order it and then they wanted me to pay money to ship it back to them. Nevertheless things got out of control (I won't go into detail) with them and I had to call the BBB on them. They eventaully decided to drop the whole ordeal.
Most companies doing the sponsor sites are probably pretty decent but not spectic remedy.
If you decide to do the sponsor things becarful who you deal with.

if you see the words "Participation Required" you ain't gettin a freebie and if you do you end up paying for it ten times over and when you don't you get a ton and I mean a TON of spam and fraud offers in your inbox, I get at least 5-10 "lottery win" emails a day, drives me mad!

You could create 6 emails - keep 1 for your junk mails - other 5 for your Bogus friends. use those.

But it doesn't worth the time, unless you really want the freebie
