Anyone know if these prices will be honored online?
fry's and outpost.com sell items with the same item # but they'll say that they're different entities.

for example, if you buy something online from outpost.com, you can't return or exchange it at a fry's b&m store -- you need to ship it back to outpost.com

you can't pricematch betwee the online and b&m stores either. although sometimes, outpost.com will offer some of the same deals as fry's b&m stores.

hth :)

Belkin 375VA Battery Backup

The Belkin 375VA Battery Backup (4162533) is $39.99 and not $30 dollars.

Same with the EVGA GeForce FX5200 video card. It's $70 and not $50... :(

Thats dumb. Theres a big FRY'S logo on the side of the page. How can they claim to not be affliated? Oh, thats right, the public is stupid.. I forgot.

I got both the belkin battery backup and the video card for $30 and $49.99 respectively. The price sticker says the amount mentioned above but when rang up at the register came out to how much the ad said. I went to the one in Manhattan Beach. Weird that one store rings up a different price than others.

Couldn't wake up early enough to get the card reader and battery backup unit, but got the following:

- 2x1BG DDR2 4200 RAM for $140 - $40 rebate

- P4 3.0GHz CPU for $160 (came with the motherboard I'm not sure if I wanna use...)

- Logitech cordless keyboard + mouse combo LX100 for $20

- The GQ 25/pack 8x DVD+R for $3.75

- Was going to get the 300GB Seagate HD, but ended up getting another deal of the Hitachi 250BG HD with SATA, 8.5ms, 7200rpm, and 8MB buffer for $150 - $40 rebate. I think it's worth sacrificing a little bit of space for the performance.

Thanks again, penpen!

Bought at the Burbank (Los Angeles) store. I found nicer services at the Burbank store than at the Manhattan Beach store consistently. Well, the Manhattan Beach store ain't so bad, but if u're halfway in between the two, I recommend the Burbank store. Plus, it's got a much larger inventory!

That should round up my year's shopping :)

Happy New Year, Man!
