Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS Navigator for $406.98 Shipped

This is a great GPS at a great price. I already have one and I loved it. I just ordered one to give as a gift and there is no shipping fee. Shipping is free. It is $399.99 plus local tax, if any.
 
I don't understand why these things vary so greatly in price. What's the difference b/w them, and are some essentially better at getting where u need to go than others?
