Try this experiment:
Copy the link in the first post and paste it in Notepad.

Now, right-click the link in the first post and choose 'Copy Link Location' or 'Copy Shortcut'. Now paste that into Notepad.

The first one copies the text exactly as you see it with the ellipses towards the end. The second one copies the entire link instead of just what you see.
