I am looking to get a good electronic multimeter. I have been looking at the Fluke brand and have been impressed.

Does anyone use any kind of multimeter on a continuous basis that they enjoy?

Thanks!

I am salivating at the cable analyzer. I really need one for some of my jobs, but that is definitely out of my price range for now.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but I have the t-shirt from Fluke that says "Just Scope This!":teeth:

Just looking at the meter your office uses, it comes with a lifetime warranty. That alone makes it worthwhile.

This looks like the same meter for a penny more but it comes with a thermal imager.

Do you all use clips like this? Would it be worth it to get them now?

Sweet deal! I can't buy stuff for work @ Amazon they don't have corp accounts.

Yea we do use clips like those, but I don't have that fancy set even though it looks nice. :) It depends on what you are going to be doing with your meter. I use mine for checking out power supply voltages so I'm constantly moving from cabinet to cabinet.

The DTX-1800 we have also has the multimode fiber adapters. It's very cool, but there's no way I could afford it for my use.

Mostly it will be for computer work. Our company is contracting with another and they need us to have a multimeter, but I'm not sure exactly what we'll be using it on yet until I get on scene. They don't give us many details.

I just bought the multimeter, leads, and got the free thermal imager. WOot! Thanks Kage_ and for your t-shirt promo Tigger. Maybe I can earn a T-shirt one day since I spent over $500 on the meter and leads.
