If you're having problems with the rebate for the Hanns-g monitor purchased from Office Depot, here is the solution:

ISSUE
It has come to our attention that the vendor, Wintergreen Systems, has not honored commitment to pay on several mail-in-savings (MIS) on the following products sold in Q3 and Q4 2006:

SOLUTION
To assist you with customers that are coming directly to the stores to get their money, we have established a protocol using Young America (Office Depot’s rebate house) to help facilitate processing and quick distribution of funds:

- The store or customer must contact Young America by phone at 877-470-3621 or email: odstorerebatesyoung-america.com and reference offer # OD4802278 for assistance on processing these redemptions.

- NOTE: Young America has been instructed to immediately process the check.

I've been checking on my rebate and this is the last message I received.

Please be advised: Parago, Inc. is a provider of rebate processing services for its clients. As a rebate processor, Parago works on behalf of Wintergreen Systems to receive mail, perform data entry services, receive customer service calls, print checks, and perform other services associated with its promotions. For the submission in question, Parago performed data entry on the submission, and forwarded the information to Wintergreen Systems for approval and funding. To date, Parago has not received such approval and funding from Wintergreen Systems. Until Wintergreen Systems forwards additional funding for the promotion in question to Parago, Parago will not be able to mail any additional consumers checks under the promotions. We apologize for any frustration this has caused, and will process the reward as soon as we are provided the required funding and approval by Wintergreen Systems. In the interim, we suggest you contact Wintergreen Systems directly, at:

Thanks so much for the info. I contacted Office Depot at the toll-free number given, and spoke with a young lady who took my information, entered me into their system, and assured me that they would be issuing me a check to take the place of the one that I will never receive from Wintergreen Systems, and that it would arrive in 4 - 6 weeks. It's a bit longer to wait, but it beats never getting it at all. I'll keep my fingers crossed in the meantime.
 
I made the call also - the check will be mailed in 4 weeks or less. Thank you Office Depot for standing up when it counts!
 
I want to thank babbalou32 for a great job. I just called today and the next batch of checks, which mine is one, will be sent out in a few days. I was getting a little concerned about this whole thing. I was saying that I would never buy another thing from Office Depot because of this issue. I am glad they have taken it upon themselves to make good on this rebate. This has reaffirmed my trust in them.
