Heading to the Ocean with Jeb Stuart in tow! Figured it is a good time for him to see and hear something different! And, I want to get some Thrasher's French Fries! A "thing" to buy while down there! :wave:
 
Are dogs allowed on your beaches?
We have a separate dog beach that is awesome. All the dogs get to run and play off leash, in and out of the water, throwing sand, shaking and getting everyone wet. Everyone is so friendly, talking to each other about their dogs, throwing balls and toys for them. It is such a great place!
 
YAY, JEB! I cant wait to hear all about it. Bubba likes to roll around and rub in the sand, especially if theres a smelly fish nearby. And little Peeja actually jumps in the gulf and swims out to get his ball He's under a foot high, about 16 inches long and weighs six pounds- half lhasa, half yorkie). That boy loves him some tennis ball. He has one of the little football shaped, squeaky tennis ball toys made by AirKong.

I hope to be going out but I dont want to go alone so it sort depends on what my friends are doing.

Yep....dogs are allowed as long as you pick up after them otherwise, there is a fine. Rightly so! I love animal people! When I lost my Tristan and we did a Memorial Service on the beach at the ocean, we turned and there were almost fifty people and their dogs, standing by watching. They offered their condolances, and talked to us. The dogs gave us all hugs and kisses. Totally awesome. Pet people rock! :claps: Only God knows what the Jebster is going to get into! Doubt I will let him off lead, he would swim to England before I could catch his furry butt! :) I want him to see different things and people to socialize him more. Today, he went after the poor dog up the street who weighs over fifty pounds! Jeb Stuart is only six pounds, nasty cuss! :mmph:

Knowing Jeb, he won't bring me a fish, he will bring me back the leg off a fisherman!!!:worry: Jeb loves to chew and loves his bandanas, balls, and today we bought him his first frisbee! WHAHOOOOO! I rotate Jeb's toys, just to keep him challenged a bit. Figured he could get all dirty tomorrow, and, we are expecting a Nor Easter to hit the Island here with high winds on Sunday. A good day to bake ham, and, bathe Jeb Stuart!!!!:rofl:
Hope you get to go out with friends and chill out and relax. Big hugs to my good friends Bubba and PJ! It is the weekend, they called me and said they want you to make the steak! :rofl: :)

Oh Rags...what started out as a fun day at Wet N Wild waterpark..ended up horrible.First off I am diabetic and didn't eat breakfast.I never eat...just drink coffee..I know shame on me!!!!Anyhoo...my husband and I went with his brother and fiancee.We were having a blast.We just finished one ride and were getting ready to get into the Lazy River and wade when all of a sudden it felt as if someone sucked the air from my lungs.Yep...I am asthmatic.Anyways..my husband noticed I was having problems breathing.Ok to make a long story short...I was dehydrated and having muscle cramps really bad.I mean they were so bad,that I couldn't open my fists.Ok..I got a ride to the nearest hospital via ambulance.So I spent 5 hours in ER.Come to find out that while I was in ER,my blood pressure kept getting lower.Normally it is 110/70,but 71/32...gees.Come to find out through my blood work...I have low blood calcium.So I have to chew two Tums a day.

Oh my God! You poor thing!!!!!! Okay now we could lecture you on the necessity of a good diet,but you already know that! And of course I could caution you on testing your blood sugars, but, you are so intelligent I know you did THAT!! Oh asthma....I HATE THAT DISEASE!!!!! I don't think people realize how prevelant it is or how dangerous. It was what took my baby boy Tristan to heaven in January. Singluair, Flovent, Albuterol, and another nebulizer were standard fare here on the kitchen bar! Are you dieting by chance that your calcium levels fell? Are you a vegetarian?!?! Veggie folks almost always have an electrolyte or two outta whack?!?!:convinced: Incorporate some low fat UNFLAVORED yogurt into a meal every day if you can tolerate it. Thank God your husband and friends were there to help....talk about a sucky Friday.....:hug:
 
Thanks Rags.Vegetarian yes.Dieting...no.I eat meat every now and then when my sugar is running low...BUT only then.:doh:
And yes...I should know about my diet.Being asthmatic is a pain.I came down with it as an adult.I am sorry about your loss Rags.:hug: :hug:
