Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince for $7.39 Shipped

Hi Folks:

You can get the new Harry Potter book shipped very inexpensively, if you don't mind signing up for Overstock.com auctions. (you don't have to buy anything, they just want to compete with ebay and get people to sign up). If you do, they will give you a $10 credit (notice it says "This credit can be applied towards your purchase on the shopping site." - you'll need it)
Link to Auction Site:
http://auctions.overstock.com/cgi-b...P=F&siteID=RvEiSnI7NyY-cZL3CB9Acxwvd..syfrAIg

Sign up for the auction site, (you need to put in your CC # -they do not charge you) and you will have a $10 credit after that. If you do not, call:
1-800 THE-BIG-O and tell them you signed up for the auction site (keep the page up for reference) and you would like your $10 credit. They'll do it.

Now, go get the Harry Potter book:
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?page=proframe&prod_id=1097776

Put it into your shopping cart and purchase. Your $10 credit should show before you purchase the item. (especially after calling). If it does not, Call them!

You'll get the book for $7.39 shipped. ;) Good luck!

=[
They gave me credit to the Auction site of Overstock.

I was told that it was a credit only applicable to that section.

Oh well.

After being on hold for 30 minutes. /sigh

Ok I just used the "Live Chat" feature and was told that I would have to wait 1-5 Days for the account to be verified before receiving credit. Live chat is muchhhh better than talking on the phone in my opinion. (static, etc)

FYI, if they give you trouble, quote the page. It really does it a lot faster if done over the phone. Read the quote verbatim and they have to honor it. They put my credit through right away. Tell them you are about to buy something & you want it posted. They'll do it

SWEET!
I got double credit.
One for the customer service gave me 10 bux in credit for the overstock auction site.

then today i got my 10 credit for overstock.com

=] !!!!

 I don't think there was anything dishonest going on there. Customer service made the mistake of giving the $10 credit for the auction site. The promotion was for the main shopping site. They fixed the problem and let the customer keep the original $10 incentive to the auction site. What is dishonest about that? I have had overstock give me all kinds of discounts and coupons for any little mistakes they have made.

LOL. Justify it anyway you need to if it makes you sleep better at night.

I honestly don't trust this company considering the fact that they want your CC# on a unencrypted site....

well i say... F&$# that
