Hertz filed for bankruptcy and now they have a lot of used rental cars for sale. Generally they are only a little lower than KBB quoted prices. Each listing has a comparison to KBB.

Brands include

* Buick
* Cadillac
* Chevrolet
* Chrysler
* Dodge
* Ford
* GMC
* Honda
* Hyundai
* Infiniti
* Jeep
* Kia
* Land Rover
* Mazda

Wait what? Wow, usually this is good news.
Conflicted on this one.

not even worth buying any vehicles that were used as a rent a car unless you find one hell of a deal. 2018 hyundai sonata base with 84k miles for $9,000? not worth it for me. Plus the way rent a cars are treated? most people abuse the rent a car vehicles while driving since after all it is a rent a car.

These people at hertz need to come down another 25 % on their sales prices they are overpriced specially for a bankrupt company

Buying a used rental car is kind of like going to a house of ill repute looking for a wife. Anything that's been driven that hard by that many people, you really don't want to put your key in it.

That's a great analogy! They'll never be able to reorganize with those prices, since the cars will never sell. The creditors will not be happy.

As someone who used to rent cars every single week, I suggest folks NOT to buy a used rental car!

The prices are really slightly lower than kbb but at the same time, rental cars get abused a little more sometimes.

Rental cars do NOT get abused regularly as many here are suggesting. Plus they get regular servicing including oil changes, etc. PLUS Hertz was one of the most expensive rental companies so the people who would abuse a car while renting them wouldn't rent from them.
