I bought this printer last week from CompUsa when they were advertising it at $79.99 with the $40 MIR. This thing runs like a charm, and am having no problems scanning DVD's with it. If you get a chance pick it up at that price!!

You've learned the 'GOTCHA' in printers. The manufacturers can take a loss on the printer, but make up their profits in selling ink. That is why I suggest you take your ink cartridges to a competent refiller...and not one that simply drills holes in the cartridge.

My store has around 8 of them, so the warehouse is OOS, but I do know some stores still have them in stock.

I found one store in the LA area (Studio City) with 10 of them; they were all in back, with no floor model. You wouldn't know they had them unless you asked the right salesperson. I bought one, using the printable $15 off $75 coupon;then I signed up for the online $30 rebate. The unit comes with "starter" ink cartridges; Staples is now selling recycled ink cartridges.
