How Do You Become A Moderator?

Simple question asked above and I'll repeat it again =P
How do you become a moderator?

For a while, I thought most, if not all, of the moderators knew each other in real life (probably even good friends), but after looking around the forums, I've realized that you guys aren't. So... how can an average guy like me ever have a chance to become a moderator?

P.S. If Spoofee himself is too busy to answer my question, can any of you current moderators tell me how you got the job? Thanks =)

We became moderators ebcause we spent a LOT of time on the forums, were nice and able to help people etc.


I think we have plenty of mods for now, but as the community grows and grows new oens will need to be added.

So keep coming back tot ehf roums, be helpfull and whatnot and maybe spoofee will select you as a mod once a position opens up

Ah, I see. Thanks a lot for the response. Yeah, there are a LOT of moderators already, and most of the people in this forum aren't exactly going crazy and arguing with each other anyway, so you're right about not really needing any more moderators at this point.

Oh well, I'm still continuing posting in the Coupons, Hot Deals, and Freebies boards!
