How to misuse 911

People are so stupid!!!! Thanks for sharing dru! :bigok:

Thank you Druvans! I needed the laugh!

Thanks Druvans. It's pretty sad when our emergency 911 lines are tied up with unnecessary phone calls like that, when other folks who may be having an actual emergency need the 911 lines and cannot.:mmph:

Some people. I thought this was funny though: "They stole my damn dollar...he won't fix my taco...I ain't havin' no rice in it...He's holdin' my dollar and ten cents".

If we repealed all the laws that protect stupid people, problems like these would take care of themselves.

I thought I was going to be peeved off (since I work at a 9-1-1 dispatch center), but oh boy, some of these are classic! Thanks.

I have never worked as a dispatcher, but it is even frustrating to me how people misuse 911. I cant imagine actually receiving a call like that. I would probably get fired for the "information" or the "help" I would dispatch! ;)
If anyone hasnt told you lately Spaz and anyone else that works to help the public (EMT, Dispatch, Police, Fire) THANKS for all you do!!!!!!! :bigok:

Thanks Kadin'sMama.

I actually had one lady mad at me because I didn't give her a PIN number to help her unlock her cell phone. She pushed the 'Help' button on the phone expecting an operator. I told her to call her cell phone company and make the request there. Did that ever set her off!

Oh man that was great, just goes to show that common sense isn't common.
