I bought a watermelon............

Last week I bought a watermelon as a treat for the kids. Well, we got so busy that it sat on the kitchen counter not eaten yet..... We even went away for a bit only to come back and realize that the watermelon was still on the counter...intact and uneaten......

We went out to dinner last night, got home late. My husband and I were in the kitchen talking and I start hearing this hissing noise...... It seemed to be coming from next to my husband who was standing by the counter.

All of the sudden....POW! :yikes: The watermelon actually exploded! :yikes: Ripe watermelon everywhere! The whole thing split from one side to the other and it was just pulverized and everywhere.:ack:

So here's some summer advice....make sure you put your watermelon in the refrigerator. :wink:

I have never seem such a sight. :faint:

Beware the watermelon.....it lives!

Damn...I missed.

I thought I had used enough C-4 seeds, but apparently I mis-calculated.

And the timer I bought from China was also defective.

Back to the drawing board.

I will not miss next time.
