I got a VD present early....

I got my Valentine's Day present a few days early secret: it was what I wanted ).

I have a cinnamon canary named Cupid!

I love canaries. I never knew/appreciated canaries until many years ago when I was on the phone with a client and heard such wonderful 'singing' in the background. Turns out he had canaries, wow, what a beautiful thing!

My Hubby gave me my first canary, a peach colored one, named Valentine (for Valentine's Day), he was so beautiful and sang every morning, he was a delight. Unfortunately, they are a fragile bird. I had another one after that, a yellow one, and so enjoyed his song as well.

I haven't had one for about 5 or 7 years or so, and now, we will have 'song' in our home again...


This is a real treat, I can't wait for tomorrow. Hopefully he will be acclimated enough to sing.:05:
