I used to be that way as well. Don't know what really changed in my life, but I've gotten over it. I think it used to be my body's way of saying, "Hey, I know you're going to slow down over the next few days. I need to catch up."

Most viruses have a three day incubation period. Count back three days from when you started to get it & you can figure out who you might have got it from.

I'm wondering if you're under more stress when you're getting ready to go out of town. Stress can wreak havoc on your immune system, making you more vulnerable to catching something.Kage_ said:Why is it that I always get sick before we are gonna go out of town? I've actually been fighting this bug for about 2 weeks or more now, and I'm definitely not stressed about going away for the weekend. Actually, the only thing I'm stressed about now is getting everything done that needs to be done before we leave, but I thought I'd have been better by now to have everything done earlier. What I mean is that I wasn't stressed about having a lot to do several days ago, because I thought I'd be better by now. It's been a strange bug, that's for sure.

That is such a bummer that you're both feeling under the weather. Hopefully, you'll both be able to get the rest you need to recuperate while you're away. penpen =)
