I don't think I've heard these songs. Are they online somewhere?

BTW - Congrats :05:

Have you decided 100% on one of those 3 or you looking for other suggestions?

No, no... During the honeymoon. :camera: :zip:

Just because you are on your honeymoon is no reason. ;)

Congrats Casey and I would have to say, just like the comment above by wildbanchee, pick the song that makes you smile when you hear it. :claps:

Ditto. It's makes me shudder the least when I hear it, even if it is overplayed to death on the radio. The "heaven" song is also a little creepy/sick when you listen to the lyrics... sounds like something out of Silence of the Lambs.

Congratulations!!! :claps: :bigok:

I volunteer

I heard raccoon cake is actually not too bad. A little hairy, and may have a rubber aftertaste depending on the vehicle that hit it, but you can't beat the price! :money: :bigok:

congrats casey!

i voted for keith urban because even though i LOVE rascal flatts and LOVE that song, it's a little bit of a downer for a wedding song... pointing out the bad stuff that's happened-- leading you to each other. while it might ring true, i don't know... it just doesn't seem like an uplifting wedding song. just my opinion.

when's the big day? you might wait to pick a song until it gets closer, if you have time. it seems like just in time for wedding season, a couple of really great love songs get released.

but, if you want to pick something now, i'd say play "any man of mine" right after he says I DO LOL

oh and then AFTER the reception ;) put on josh turner's "your man"... OMG his voice and that song make me MELT!!!!:32::05: whew... is it getting hot in here??!!

congratulations on all your big plans, casey!

8 votes????? come on people!!!!!!!

haha thanks clubchick!!! too bad my fiance HATES country music and I love it but the wedding thing is all my choice, he doesnt really care, if it were up to him we would be dancing to Metallica....

I haven't had a chance to listen to you choices but........

Just an opinion...for our wedding we wanted something 'classic' that we wouldn't 5 years down the road look at each other laugh and say 'what were we thinking?'. So, I wouldn't choose a Brittany Spears or Boys2men tune ;).

We actually chose, "what a wonderful world" by L.Armstrong and as our 2nd request, the Beatles "will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 64". We had friends who married later that year who told us they chose to use our 2nd request to play at their wedding too because they loved it! Once you have children tho, it changes to "Living La Vida Loca".....LOL

we used a few songs in our ceremony. instead of "here comes the bride", i got the surprise of walking in to the song todd chose -- "hawaiian wedding song" by elvis (he picked it without saying anything- and it made me relax and grin ear-to-ear as i walked down the aisle!) and for later in the ceremony, i picked "longer" by dan fogelberg. our first dance was "truly, madly, deeply" by savage garden.

i agree with precocious- you definitely want to pick something a little more classic. however, there are plenty of newer country songs that will last long enough to be considered classic-- george strait "i cross my heart" and martina mcbride "valentine" both come to mind. don't worry, casey, you'll come up with your perfect song, i'm sure!

a friend of mine is getting married in 3 weeks and the pastor at her church wont let them have this song. if i remember correctly, this song is about how god knows who your soulmate is and her pastor says that god does not have anything to do with your soulmate. hmmmmmm, i just dont understand that, from what i was taught and learned god has everything to do with everyday life, choices you make, tragedies that happen, blessings that we receive, so on and so forth.
