Internet Explorer 7 Beta
Thank you for choosing Microsoft and for trying this pre-release software. Everyone on the Internet Explorer team wants to make your web browsing experience safer and easier. We welcome your feedback.

To help you with beta testing, we've provided the resources and checklists below. You may want to print the checklists that apply to you and verify that your websites/applications work with the new Internet Explorer features.

Oh Boy! A brand new batch of Microsquish goofs to allow hackers into my machine!

That's why you install it only on a non-production machine (aka 'honey pot'). Don't you know you get to be a guinea pig as a beta tester? LOL

I wasn't referring to the Beta test part, just IE in general.
I switched to Mozilla Firefox about a year ago and never looked back.

I've downloaded it to one of my computers. The interface is a lot nicer. It comes only with MSN search enabled by default. If you want others, such as Google, you have to go to another page and get it. They pretty much got rid of the menu structure at the top of the page.

I don't imagine I'll load this on any other computers unless Microsoft forces it to become part of a service pack for Windows XP. It was nice to look at and use, but as DanC points out, Firefox is still a superior browser.

First Step: Firefox
Second Step: Linux

End Result: Rock solid computing platform

Note: Yahoo Mail Beta doesn't accept Internet Explorer 7 Beta Version

Its a piece of junk so far. Won't load many pages that IE6 and Firefox load just fine.

darn, it says my validation key is invalid.......how do I change the key license code without having to reinstall everything?

I'm happy with firefox. Don't want to install at this time :) Thanks for the link anyway..

a lot of spyware is starting to show up on firefox, now that it's become so popular. nevertheless, it is still faster and better than internet explorer. if it all comes down to it, the next one on my list would be opera.

Really? Can you point to some examples of this?

Sorry, I'll stick with something pop-up free that virtually never crashes - Firefox.

Just d/l and installed. So far so good. It reseambles the other browsers now. I'll have to give it a :bigok:

I used to get excited about things like this

There was a time in my life that I would download a beta version of IE. But since firefox came out and Opera went free I just see no need for such actions.

IE had it's chance and it failed.

And you are right - linux should be the second step.
