I love my firefox too

Is Firefox really that much better? I have IE. Maybe I should switch.

Try it and see. It's afree download, mozilla.com.

Once you start using tabbed browsing, you'll never go back.
There are numerous plugins to enhance it, as well as various 'themes', which change the look of the program.

I only use IE for Windows updates. Other than that, it's Firefox all the way.

Firefox is "da bomb!"

If you love getting pop-ups, trojans and lots of viruses - stay with IE

There are a few websites that are written for IE (few and far between) that you have to get to via IE.

Don't delete IE, but do install firefox.:bigok:

Definately a firefox fan, baonex is good too

I have IE, but i aslo have the right protection against all that crap...so i have no problem with IE at all!

I downloaded Firefox...nothing seems different. :hmmmm2:
Did you install it and then run it? :convinced:

Maybe I'm paranoid, but it worries me when an install program tells you to 'backup all important files' before beginning.

More Microsquish goodness!

Yeah, I did all that. Rebooted my puter and everything. Oh what the heck. I can't even get the smilies to come up now. I have spoofee on my pop-up blocker list and I even held down the shift key. Dang!!

Hmmm....I'll send you a PM to see if we can get it to work.

I actually download it 11/2 and the words on the screen/page is colorful like a little green, red and blue. I thought my eyes were bugging out so ask my hubby to come and take a look at the screen and sure enough there is something wrong with the color. Tried to fix it, thought it was the moniter but nope it is the new IE7. Finally gave up in frustration :smash: and restore the computer back. Then to top it off hubby said why I always have to download the newest verison. His words "if it ain't broke don't fix it". DARN hate to admit that he is right ( THIS TIME ONLY ) ;)

This is one of those things that you will want to download sometime though. IE6 has a bunch of security holes that IE7 attempted to fix. Not sure that it got them all or how many more it introduced, but overall it is more secure.
