In-store only - 128 USB 2.0 Drive $10 no rebates @ Office Max YMMV

Actually $39.99 minus $30 INSTANT rebate. Their in-store flyer shows the purple Lexar model but I received the Verbatim unit. I'm not complaining, same specs but smaller. This unit comes in clear red w/neck lanyard, 3ft USB extension cable & Win98 driver on mini-CD.

Once you have one of these you can't do without.

I bought a 128MB for $20 as a gift. So, I think this is a good deal. I haven't seen a 128 or 256MB for FAR. Anybody come across that? I haven't been keeping up with flash drive prices either so I assume they exist.

is there a limit on how many you can get

Verbatim USB STORE N GO DRIVE - 128MB for $9.99 at local Officemax

Officemax has the Verbatim 128mb USB stick for only $9.99.

1. Find your local Officemax, click here and click on Find a Store on the right top corner.
2. Call and ask if they have SKU# 2069-3536 in stock.
3. Rush to that Officemax.
Final Price : $9.99

Called the store, They dont carry that Brand. Thousand Oaks,California 91360

Tried a search on the Site also, Sku is no good.SKU# 2069-3536

Tries search by Sku and Any other combo at main page and store says they just dontcarry that Brand. Do all the stores carry the same brands, I will try someware else.

UPDATE !!!!!! Called the Oxnard, California store and he checked the Sku: He said it Is good and there are 7 in stock in Irvine and 11 at the Santa Clarita store.
He also suggested to call the Delivery center to pull all desired stock if you wish to purchase 800 788-8080

GREAT DEAL SPOOFEE!!!

Went to Office Max a little bit ago and got mine. They have plenty and these would make great gifts, so Im gonna go buy a few more!!

THANKS SPOOFEE!!

is this what is known as a thumb or pen drive? Why then do you need a driver disc as I thought they just plugged into your USB port and were recognized?

There are many names for these things, thumb drive, pen drive, flash drive, etc. If you have Windows XP or 2000 you shouldn't need any drivers, but if you are using an earlier version of windows u'll most likely need to install a driver.

someone here beat me to the store today

Someone in Montgomery, AL already beat me to the
store today. great deal. These little gems can
be had on eBay.com for the same price plus shipping.
:D

Curses! My store is cleared out!

I wanted some too, but the store around me are sold out :(

I'm going to try calling a few more further stores later today. I would be one of the evil ones that would clear them all out.

I made the trip to the Santa Clairta store after calling the Van Nuys store to get quantity on hand which she said there was pleanty of. Soo, I make the horrid trip up there only to findout the guy has NO clue what I'm talking about and when I insisted he came from the back room with the same "Sorry, don't have any" response.. :cussing:

what's up with the time stamp on these posting.
Is it GMT or what?
:(

got mine! one of the stores up here had 10 of them when i called, they had one left when i got there!

Okay.. I'll make another post instead of editing that one..

So, I get home, finally, write that post then choose to call that store. Whatcha know, they have 7 of them... Only problem is... They're $39.99!!! WTF?? If I could get a couple for $10 each, I'd grin and bear another trip out there, but not for $40!

let us know if TCA fulfillment does the rebate--read their horror story on REBATES forum here. Also, whats the right SKU? Cant find it on the OM web site either and if they are clueless, then the store lackeys most certainly will be. Thanks.
