I've seen a few more 'virus' threads than usual lately.....and last night my laptop got zapped  I haven't yet tackled that as of today....not looking forward to it at all.....

Has anyone else noticed this?

P.S. I will probably need help with mine.....

P.P.S. I hate norton 360 &(%^%&

Kadin has had a runny nose and a cough......oh wait.....

lol

Hope your computer feels better soon!

I had Norton and lost a computer due to a virus. I have McAfee now and have not had any problems yet . ( Although it is running a lot slower now ... hmmmmmmm)

Avast catches anything for me before & even websites & it's free.

My laptop got zapped about two months ago. I was running NAV. Instead of trying to fight it, I formatted, reinstalled and now use AVAST and seem to like Avast alot.

Lately, I have been looking for a program, perferrably free, that will back up your hard drive to like an image file. So if a virus hits, you can restore the image back. By image, I mean, backup OS, Data, and all installed programs. If anyone knows of such a program, please share, thankx..

(recently I d/l Almeza Multiset Pro from give away of the day. It seems like it will do the job, but I haven't figured it out yet)

I use Avast and just pulled off 2 Trojans last week. I dont think that it catches everything but it catches most. The Trogans came from a couponprinter so you all beware. It you already have one installed for Windows then DONT install another one if the coupon site asks you too.
I should of known better!!:)

I was FTPing my files from my host to my computer & Avast caught stuff. I'm pretty surprised that it does those files too.
