Insignia Blu-Ray Player for $129.99 Shipped

I saw a Magnavox Blu-Ray Player at Walmart for $128... didn't apear to have BD-Live.. but it's a great price for a Blu-Ray player imo too.

Maybe try checking your local Walmart to see if they have it...

At this time, very few Blu-Ray discs have any "worthwhile" bd-live content. The vast majority of bonus features on Blu-Ray movies thus far do not require bd-live.

My biggest tip to anyone looking at a blu-ray player is to check the manufacturers website as well as message boards and stuff to see how often (if at all) the firmware is updated, how easy it is to download, and how compatibility is. Some of these "cheapo" blu-ray players seem like a good deal, but there can be problems finding firmware updates, making certain discs impossible to play.

My personal recommendation would be to spend the extra money for a Panasonic, Sony, or other major name brand player because you know you'll get firmware updates and support. (The Panasonic BD60, for example, is around $200, has bd-live, good updates, etc).
