Internet ?

Does anyone know if there is some way to hook up a computer so that when someone calls, it will disconnect and let the call come thru? I have checked out the internet answering machines and all the ones I have found seem very complicated. And of course, I would like a free one.

My dad swears by call wave, which apparently tells you who is calling so that you may make the decision about answering or not. Used to be free; now they charge.

Before I got DSL, I used Call Wave. Worked great and the price wasn't bad.

Not in the area I live. Can barely get good phone service here. Dont even try to use your cell phone, you have to walk all over the house to get a few bars.

We had Callwave also before we got DSL. It's not free but pretty reasonable and it does let you disconnect when a call is coming in.

Ha!Ha! So funny I forgot to laugh.
Seriously, I only pay $10/month for my internet and have unlimited access. Since I come to this site alot, it shows that I love bargains. I am a cheap person.
My computer is so slow that DSL or satellite probably wouldn't help it.
