Anyone seen this? Kadin wants to go tomorrow for his birthday. He is pretty mature for his age (will be 4!) and has seen all 3 Spiderman's (Venom is his favorite guy), the new Incredible Hulk (thanks to Pretty Lady) and he also watches the one from a few years ago on DVD. So villians and fighting isnt a problem....anything else I should worry about like....sex? Is it a good movie and true representation of the Marvel character?

It's PG-13. Just how mature did you say this 3-year-old is?

I saw it with my kids and I don't remember anything that I would find to be inappropriate for a 4 year old. I thought it was a really good movie and from the comic book geeks I have talked to they did a good job with the characters. If he liked the Spiderman movies he'll like this movie.:)

It is a good representation of the character...who is an alcoholic womanizer.

Personally, I loved the movie. If all you're worried about is your kid seeing some boobs, then it will be fine.

PG-13 because of the violence I'm sure and the funny scenes don't cancel it out. Loved the movie. One of the best comic book type and Robert Downey Jr is a perfect type-cast for a bad-boy celeb and A-hole you like. Palthro is excellent and so is Bridges. Stay until AFTER the credits (very long). There is a 20 second Easter Egg at the very end that someone can explain to you if you don't know your comics (or you can Wikipedia it).

You say alcoholic womanizer as if that were a bad thing................

Thanks everybody! He really just likes seeing the people in character. Like when he watches Spiderman he fast fwd's to see Spiderman - not Peter Parker and during the Incredible Hulk he kept asking his Dad where the Hulk was.....lol. Everything else like "womanizing" is over his head........

Thanks for the tip about the Easter Egg Jerry! I am sure my husband will get it and probably Kadin too! I am just going along for the ride and popcorn. lol! :bigok:

You'll have a fun ride but go easy on the liquid refreshments. You won't want to have to run out to the restroom. ;)

Funny you would say that.....

the movie was pretty good - I thought it was a slow starter, but I guess you have to lay the foreground. Kadin was busy getting situated with his popcorn and soda to notice the covered up bedroom romp - and the only other scene I didnt want him to see (family being torn apart, little boy calling for his dad) Kadin had to go to the bathroom. Of course, when Iron Man wasnt on the screen, he was interested in other things like how many people were in the theater and his baby brother.....lol

Thanks again for the hint Jerry P - that was pretty cool....we can only imagine what is to come next!!!!!

There is another hint at the end of The Incredible Hulk. There also was a scene in Ironman that had Captain America's shield in it. Google Ironman Captian America Shield to see it. It wasn't in the trailer scene but they put it in in the movie.
