It finally happened! Yipee!

My latest obsession has been entering sweepstakes and I finally won one! Now grated the prize was a bit well, shall we say, unusual. It's from Vampirewear and it's a black and red heart shaped backpack with (get this) bat wings and it arrived with two vial pendants on cords that are intended to store small amounts of blood and worn as necklaces and, get this, the pendants were packaged in little boxes shaped like COFFINS! I kid you not and If I'm lyin I'm dyin...Talk about unusual, huh? Goth kids would, er, die for this one...what's also unusual is that I had no idea that the company was located in Ontario and they paid $22. to ship! So, let's see...$30.00 retail value for the backpack (you can see what it looks like here:http://www.vampirewear.com/index.php?category=52) and $22.00 for the vials plus $22.00 for shipping. Amazing ... but i finally won! :claps:

Funny you should write that! Did I ever mention that I attended Catholic preschool, grammar school, high school and college? At this point, I could probably quote the Holy Bible verbatum - not that it's a bad thing!! :proud:

Thanks for the giggle! I read your original post and thought to myself~hmmm, I've never really paid attention~does Ladymez only post after sundown? have there been any blood-related freebies she posted that I missed?? :bat: LOL It also sounded like my life: I finally win a contest and it would be a vampire-ish backpack!! At least it wasn't an all expenses paid trip to Transylvania!!
